From Our Founder
Hello and welcome! I’m Susie, an Australian who’s been living in Beijing since 2003.
I have always enjoyed making and creating things – stuff I can use or wear, especially unique pieces that also serve a purpose.
I began sewing a few years ago and then began learning how to make my own shoes, bags and other useful items out of leather.
In 2020, I opened Make Me to teach workshops in Beijing. We have a studio where we hold the workshops in the beautiful Beijing hutong area between Dongzhimen and Beixinqiao. I have a passion for creating, making and sharing what I learn along the way. I hope you can join us in the studio some time to make something that you will enjoy for years to come.
